Insert Hyperlink

Selida offers an efficient process to insert a hyperlink, (commonly known as a 'link'). Open the HyperLink function by selecting the Hyperlink Menu in the Insert Menu. This dialogue has been redisigned also in contrast to Selida Version 1.X. When you 'click' on this function a dialogue window will appear, offering the following:

Switch between the layers
This window contains three unique 'layers'. To switch between the the different layers, click the box (es) located on the right side of the window, (On this image, white). There are three different layers:

1) Existing file
2) Inside Document
3) Mail address

Hyperlink Text
The Hyperlink Text is the specific text the user must 'click' on in order to navigate to the next page.
Example: In the text, "My Link", the hyperlink text in this 'hyperlink' is simply the words:
My Link

OK
Clicking on OK inserts the hyperlink into the document.

Cancel
Exits the window without making any changes.

Existing Document
Use this layer to link to a file or webpage.

Inside document
This layer is used to link to a bookmark inside a document. Since this function searches the document for all bookmarks, it may require a few moments to complete its search.

Mail Address
This layer is used to link to an e-mail address. The program will remember all e-mail addresses you enter in. It then will display them within the 'recently used mail addresses' list.
